Be sure to thoroughly vacuum the surface once the old carpeting is removed.
Take the measurements to your local home improvement or carpeting store.
Many of the larger ones have outdoor carpeting in stock.
Once you get the new carpet home, pull up the old carpeting and clean the surface.
Start fitting in the new carpet from one corner of the porch.
Work out to the edges and, using a straight utility knife, cut the carpet to fit.
Save any remnants, cutting large ones into runners or mats to place by doorways.
