We also thought the actual road layout was a bit dodgey and could have been thought out better.
On a positive note, i will say that this rug exceeded my expectations in two areas.
First, the carpet is soft and supple.
I was very pleased that it rolled out and stayed flat instead of suffering from carpet curl at the ends as i feared it would and like so many cheap and stiff runner carpets will.
Second, i expected that the carpet would smell, i have had unpleasant experiences in the past with chemical odors eminating from the backing material of carpets.
There was none of that here.
The carpet was absolutely benign in this regard straight out of the wrap.
It is hard to say how durable the carpet will be, but it certainly seems sturdy.
If we can keep the cat off of it and dirty shoes it should stay nice for a long time.
Overall, i am very happy with this carpet and with how much our son seems to be enjoying it.
