amitraz demodex::Demodectic mange is vet induced.
All dogs have demodectic mange mites living on them.
That is a fact.
The only time they become a problem is when their immune systems are compromised and happens when dogs are over vaccinated as puppies which is generally what vets do.
Vet start with 6 or 8 week old pups and inject them with 5 live viruses in one vaccine.
And then sit around and baffle that the pup got demodectic mange.
Blame genetics, owners, come up with all kinds of reason except for the truth.
Then instead of buidling the immune system with vitamins and better food, they dip them in poison and give them chemicals to get them over it.
Helloooooo my suggestion is buy the best food you can afford.
Preferably a raw diet.
Build the immune system up and the problem will go away.
Stop trying to fix the symptoms and fix the cause.
You can give the dog towel baths by filling a sink with warm water.
Soak the towel and rub him down daily or every other day making sure you get the effected areas good.
You can also rub fresh lemons on the spots afterwards.
Get some vita c or echinacia and heal your dog from the inside out.
It seems to come and go because the dog gets treated and at the same time it is helping it is compromising his immune system even more.
So the treatments are short lived and the problem is back.
You are so right in looking for an alternative.
Drugs, chemicals, dips are obviously not doing the trick.
Time to fix the problem at the core!
